Dealbreaker

Dealbreaker

A Poem by AJay9979

Fear of infidelity looms over the pile
Of broken-hearted memories from before.
The hypothetical indiscretion of him
Touching the body of someone else
As if we were together again caught
The training wheel of my bicycle,
Rendering standing up again unfathomable.
When will this gut-wrenching thought
Dissipate into a sweeter time of passion?
