Terminate or not to?

Question:

I have a hypothetical situation for you. Say you have a wife, she was badly Injured, not conscious and you had to make a decision. This decision being of whether not to terminate the pregnancy. In this case would fall under being a late term abortion. Here's the catch. If you don't, there's a good chance she would die as a result.

How would you go about proceeding? Abort or take the chance?

What would I do? Have them terminate the pregnancy without hesitation. For the simple fact that her life is more important. I would make this same decision had it been a daughter I've been wanting and over joyed for. Without a doubt.

I want to make something very clear as well. A situation like this would be the only time I step in and make the choice for her. The. Only. Time. When she can't and her life is in danger. It's because her well being is more important. Which is why I love her in the first place. Love is the greatest cause of all.

Besides, I would want to have a child with her. Key part being 'with her.' Not without. Nothing is stopping us from trying again after. Is there? When she's gone, she's gone. I don't see that as remotely worth the gamble or risk involved.
