![]() Side AA Chapter by Prochoice_MLB![]() The perspective of one with a uterus.![]()
Mm I mean... In the end, it's truly the pregnancy carriers decision upon whether or not to keep or abort. If you're in a relationship, it should be discussed, but the ultimate decision is the one who has to carry to term. Men need to understand that they are not the ones going through the pain and possible life or death situation that comes with carrying a pregnancy. And even then, it truly doesn't matter because the guy can leave at any point, decide he doesn't want a kid after all, and then what's the mother to do? She's stuck with a kid HE wanted and now has to battle it on her own.
"Real men" need to stand up for a woman's decision and be understanding that they're not the ones at risk. Maybe more women would be open to listening to a man's opinion on the topic of keep versus abort if it wasn't for the fact men think they have the overall voice for it. "But it's my child!" Okay? Last I checked, it's MY kid too, and IM the one carrying it. I can't decide six months from now I don't want it and change my mind. I'm stuck at that point. But a guy can bail at any time. Guys don't get a lot of s**t for bailing on women that they practically coerced into having a kid. "He wasn't ready" "he was nervous" "she shouldn't have gotten pregnant" but a woman decides she's not ready? The s**t she gets for it? Not okay. So "Real men" need to stand up for the woman's decision ultimately. - Written by MJL © 2018 Prochoice_MLB |
