She Never Said...

She didn’t say that,
She was as wonderful as a sunny day,
No she never said that.

She didn’t say that,
She was as powerful as the sun,
No she never said that.

She didn’t say that,
She was amazing like the sea,
No she never said that.

She didn’t say that,
She was star dust; so special,
No she never said that.

She didn’t say that,
She was as remarkable as the star’s,
No she never said that.

She didn’t say that,
She was as strong as a flame,
No she never said that.
All she said is that,
She would be as lovely as a sunny day,
If it made other people smile.

All she said is that,
She wishes with all her heart that she could be like the sun,
So she could be powerful for others.

All she said is that,
She always hoped to be like the sea,
So she could calm and peaceful, and make people feel free.

All she said is that,
She would love to be star dust,
So she could guide others out of the cold dark night and be there special something.

All she said is that,
She hoped that she could be as remarkable as the star’s,
So others would wish to join her in her dark plain midnight sky.

All she said is that,
She wished that she could stay a flame, as long as a flame,
So she would be brave, and not be forgotten and fade away.
