Their Own Line

This spoken word piece addresses my thoughts about sharing my mental and mature overall interests with another, who has their own set of immature hidden agendas, disallowing a connection between us.

It seems like

every time I every time

back at the beginning

I realize I'm found

without trying to find

a negative reason

to become dumb, deaf and blind

I've already asked why

The opposite of afraid

and far from shy

however I think that my

gentle guy is a again

being taking for a ride

from adult mind

to another adult mind

existing to be

comforting and kind

but for some reason

it seems like someone

wants to walk down
