You're all I see in my dreams

Never felt this way before

This feeling's so different

It feels so real

Nothing can be compared to this!

 

I've never felt so alive

Nobody really tore down my walls

Yet you did it with no complication

Like it never really protected me.

 

Before you; my heart was shattered...

Shattered as a broken mirror

I couldn't find all of those bloody pieces

You took a glue;

Picked up the pieces

One by one you glued my heart back together.

I came to realize recently that it may be possible to raise a fallen star, by one's knowledge and understanding. But to raise a broken heart will take a living over a life time. Your heart may have been raised by a star, but you must bring it to the test of the living before you create an affirmation. Its a sweet poem of innocence rediscovered.
