The Monster.

There's living a monster within us.

The Monster

Ain't a monster happy people know of

It rips my flesh open

Eating up my bleeding heart

“The Monster from within

Is nothing more than talk.”

That Monster, the evil from within

Is nothing more than my darkest urges

An urge that will stick to me forever in time

It’s like a parasite

It’s draining me, to grow, it feeds on me.

The monster is the "urge" within that person. Its like a parasite that we can't seem to get rid of and as much as we try, it won't go away. I love how you give it a character as if it means a significant thing. Its unbelievable the description you give it especially when you add the last sentence, "It's draining me, to grow, it feeds on me."
