When will you realize what you did to me

When will you realize I’m dead?

When will you realize I’m broken?

You smashed me into pieces

You’ve never been there for me

I was your backup plan

Nothing more than a shoulder to cry on

I thought I meant something to you

You drew me through hell

You bruised me on the inside

I’m ready for take off

I’m ready to leave it all behind

I was so f*****g blind

You know you’d won

You figured out how to beat me up

You dragged me on the ground

Gave me the f*****g razorblade

It feels like my heart is turned into stone

You were so cold

Your icy touch burned me

I’ll never slit my throat with the knife I pulled out of my spine.

You can write young lady. Poem is strong and direct. I like the emotion and desire of this poem. Anger can set someone up to become stronger and wiser.

I don't like the dots you've placed at the end of every line. Honestly, it makes it seem like you're not very confident in your words, when in reality, this piece is all about calling someone out on how crappy the way that they've treated you.
