Sitting alone

Barely breathing

I may be drunk enough,
To let go of my pain

Hidden away on
This cold lonely night

Sharp words

Cuts through the silence

Breaking me.

 

You took my heart

Shattered it

Threw it to the ground

Stomped on it

Just to watch it bleed.

 

Thought you said you cared

Thought you’d never let me down

Thought you said you were fond of me.

 

As I unfold a lost letter

“I Love You Darling.”
I cry.
