Long Gone Memorie.

Long Gone Memorie.

A Poem by A Risen Heroine.
"

^^

"

Walking these streets alone

My heart to you belong

As I close my eyes

World's crashing upon me

Wounds burn

"Jacob"

Firered and bloody

The urge lie beneath the skin

Scratching the surface.

My world has turned black

Skies has turned grey

Sooner and later it's over

Since the day you left,

My life began to falter.

Eveything's meant to be broken

Especially hearts and souls

I am no longer for the crowd to see

Believe me when I say,

"I am a long gone memorie."

A very good ending to the poem. In time we toss un-wanted weight and move on. No weakness in the poem. Direct and honest words led reader to a good place. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

The last stanza for me is the best, especially the last line, great work.
