MIGRAINE

MIGRAINE

A Poem by Adil
"

A description of how the Migraines really feel like to the sufferer.

"

Lights are filled with noises,

Darkness is where silence prevails,

More have I now appreciated the bane,

I prefer darkened caves than blinding shades…

I do not ask for company,

Even though it seems to be fair,

But a mind sheltering migraine,

Would hurt anybody just to be spared…

I may have disturbed his sleep,

Cause I have felt his tremor a bit,

I am now trying hard to be sober,

Else he’ll shatter away my peace…

But the efforts went in vain as usual,

Lo behold my greatest fear…!!!

The thunder and lightening have begun their fight,

With every beating pulse, they jeer…

Their battlefields are fixed,

The right corner of my crown,

How I wish I could be beheaded for a moment,

If only it didn’t put me down…

The rambling goes for hours,

Somedays even for days,

I chose not to take a shot,

I chose to endure but I doubt…
