Meeting of minds

This was written for a friend.

Two trains on the same track

Bound to collide

An explosion of intellect

as our creativity intertwined

At first it was nothing

Just a simple anomaly

who would have known it would pull us closer

as we succumbed to its gravity

We talked about our passion

our love for words

Now I understand why they say

A single wing is of no use to birds

Is this the will of the fates?

Did they send us to each other?

What should we accomplish?

We are but birds of a feather

Hours seem like weeks

I've known you before

maybe not in this life

but in a past life I'm sure

We are but a reflection

of who we are and want to be

I am curious to learn more about you

as we brave this wide Sargasso sea
