The Distance

This is based upon my experiences in a past relationship where we were falling out of love with each other and how I felt, but it has opened the door for me to find my soulmate so I am truly grateful

I can see the distance that you're keeping inside
Maybe I don't understand
But I don't want to ask why
I'm scared I'll make you cry
Just tell me the reason why

Baby why are we acting like this
I can feel the distance when I kiss your lips
Maybe I'm the reason but I can't live like this
So its best if we quit
This distance is killing me

Maybe I should stop calling you baby
It doesn't feel special anymore
I felt more at home before I came through the door
I was never this annoyed by the way you snore
Or your tongue that you bore
Or your handbags galore

I knew I wasn't ready
I knew you were damaged
I knew it was my job to take you out of bondage
I know that I failed you
I know that I failed us
I'm sorry I can't face you
Its cold in this damn bus

Lmao. May I say, firstly am 17, so far all through my life, I just read and write and watch detective movies all the time. That's my life, never ever fell in love or believed in it so I don't date or go out. I love my baby sister though, she's my top priority.
