December Early Black

December Early Black

A Poem by ADB

On a December early black
An eve of love without lack
Treasures presented with intention to take
But his adoration began to partake
And that moment became too late
To terminate her consecrate

For her flesh a preserve
On reserve for wedded ardor
A concept he unsought for
But her hand he longed for

His doll he could not steal
Disregarding her sensual appeal
His devoted heart concerned
By nothing but hers in return

With only three words to speak
He denied himself luxury
For her soul he aspired to please
Only as an eternal ecstasy
A nothing less than meant to be
His vow till he purely loved thee.
