Speak

Speak

A Poem by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

insight

"

Oh our bodies may seem real

But they are only a sheet

Covering us so that we may interact on this mortal material realm

Always remember that this realm is only a reflection a shadow

The body only clothing

Neither matter

Both will be cast away in time

We are speaking spirits not speaking animals

A very good read. Heartfelt, and relatable..
I like your play on words, simple, yet enchanting. My only suggestion's would be that in line 3 is the use of the word 'mortal' really necessary? And also on line 4 the repetition of 'realm' I think is a bit too soon. Either way, I like it =]
