Coptic Sufi

Coptic Sufi

A Poem by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

a word painting

"

Poetic mind snaps

Tongue slipping down the curl

Radiant vibrations turn mute

Echoing laughter grows soft

In the chamber of pyramids we’ll discover who we are

By facing what we fear the Most

The ten of Self

These words really do paint a picture, an excellent use of sensual language! I love the abruptness of the first line, followed by the slipperiness of the second.
