Old Bread

Old Bread

A Chapter by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

about being Jaded

"

The sunrise holds no more mystery

Sunsets bring no more awe

Each twinkling star sings no melody

Old moon tells no more tales

I have hit the wall

Nothing more to see

Just the long hallway of jade

Without lights

Without destination

Meaningless

Occupation

Is this the place where all roads lead?

Did I miss the mark?

Take the wrong turn?

Angered the great Cosmic deity?

At this peculiar moment, second

Stale am I
