Starry Night

Starry Night

A Chapter by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

A poem about an aspect of myself

"

I’m always making her cry

Without ever trying

She loves me

She does all she can

I don’t deserve her

Why am I this way?

A mean spirited person

Ingrained so deep I barely see it

Until it bursts out in pain

Maybe it was the way I was raised

To hurt others before they hurt me

Keeping people at a close distance

Dysfunction is my safe place

Chaos my only home

Allah forgive me for the pain

The tattered flesh path I leave as a trail

I’m standing on the edge of eternity

Throwing myself off might be the best solutio
