A poem for my sweet lovely wife

Staring up at the night sky

All I can think of is you

Everyday we grow closer

Love reigns supreme

 

When you’re gone I miss you

Half empty bed is too cold

I need your face to wake up to

I’m incomplete without you

 

You bring me sweet rest

From the hectic world

Being near you is like dreaming

Only my eyes aren’t closed

 

Staring up at the night sky

All I can do is think of you
