A glimpse behind the curtain

A glimpse behind the curtain

A Poem by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

about God

"

How can I deny you?

Just my mere existence proves you are real

How can I deny you?

Without you nothing makes sense

These gifts you have giving me

Are only mine to borrow

Free will you bestowed on me

I am not worthy of such a jewel

Your compassion knows no bounds

 Your love is eternal

Almighty you are perfect in every way

Still, you love and accept me like no other

The flesh is weak

The spirit is strong

In your wisdom you have shown me balance

Correcting but not denying my flesh needs

While lifting the needs of the spirit to your heart

How could I deny you?

After all you have done

Your ways are not my ways

What more can I say?

What more can I say?

There is much I can do

How could I deny you?

After all the mercy you have giving to me
