Turtle Ink

Turtle Ink

A Poem by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

About life and an old friend

"

I have giving up on dreams

They are what they seem

I’ll dissect reality for a while

Just to watch my dog smile

I’m ganna leave you

By the back door of one day

I’ll never see you

Become a bride

Sniff a rainbow today

Stand in the wind and rain

Don’t push your troubles away

Drowned until you are sane

Insignificant is my family tree

Chop it down you’ll find me

No two people can carry the same cross

Hold each other in a coin toss

La, la, land is dead

We’re just figments in Krishna’s head

Paradise is non-existence

A dog in heat is a coincidence

Sniff a rainbow today

You’ll never be back this way

All your life you were lying

Everyday you were perfectly dying.
