Blow Out

Blow Out

A Poem by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

Thoughts in Summer

"

I feel myself drifting between honey and a bee

A sweet sensation of a sting makes me feel alive

There is nowhere else I’d rather dive

Into the endless cloudless sky

Lave only my shadow

Wish you could be here with me

Baking in the sun of a caterpillars eye

Not even trying to survive

Watermelon River roars in tiger tones

Though we both may be drones

Doesn’t mean we can’t have a sabbatical green day

No drama no static

No high maintenance manic

Just a greatly breeze of needles

Syrup in a waterfall flowing into paper on rocks

Now I must close this book

Red, yellow, green, portals I must take a look

I just may see you around

If you dare to take a tab

Relax for witches spell

And let the green lady take you away

Take you away
