ZamA Poem by Abdul Batin Osman BeyInspired by the teachings of BuddhaNo one knows my name No one knows my name Not even I know, I know my name My ego is dead My self is dead I never held value for the material Others laughed Others scorned Now they’re trapped Living as the unborn Desperately looking outward For their problems that come from within They nurtured their ego Now their ego controls them Can’t even know themselves There brain wont let them They scream for help No one cares They scream for help NO ONE CARES They grew a self Feeding it with love But that joined forces with the ego Turning against them too Now the self is deprived Binds you to its will Just another pain Just another cell Kill the ego Kill the self Before it’s too late But I know you wont You too afraid of what you have to face Said I know you wont Too afraid of what you must face. © 2012 Abdul Batin Osman BeyAuthor's Note
