Month of Spring

Month of Spring

A Poem by Anjali Ved
"

I'm explaining how my thoughts and feelings changed at a certain time. What I felt after confronting myself, and what I want for the future.

"

Feeling like a new beginning has begun

The wounds on my heart start healing

With this month of spring that’s soothing me from deep

Sleep has turned longer and relaxer

My dreams got better

With this month of spring that’s warm to me

But cooler outside

I’m feeling new again, loved again

Empowered again because of what?

This month of spring that’s the season of rejuvenation

Overthinking rushed me and got me into pessimism

I saw my darkest side, but soon got over

With this month of spring that helped me to recover

Recover from all the negatives I had felt since the past

From all the grudges that I was holding within

From all the heartbreaks I have gone through so far

My life has been a roller coaster that I missed enjoying

But I’m learning so

I’m learning to dance in the rain, glow in the winter

And Shine in the sunburst!

Since, spring is the season of change and rejuvenation

When flowers bloom, and plant regrows

I promise myself something

I promise that I’ll bloom irrespective of the seasons of life

I won’t wait for the spring to come

I won’t wait for the flowers to bloom

And also I won’t wait for the trees to get fuller again

I can resonate with it completely. Especially few lines from the last stanza and second last. Keep writing 🙌!
