I want to feel good

And I know that I will

'Cause today is a good day

And there's absolutely nothing

That could possibly get in my way

And on this very day that I'm living

I'm going to tell myself

That everything is going to be just fine

'Cause I want to feel good

And I know that I will

So just as long as I'm still standing

And as long as I'm still breathing

I will feel good today

 

I want to feel good

And there's nothing there to stop me

'Cause this is the day that I will live

I will live my life to the fullest

And there's not going to be anyone

Who'll stand in my way to stop me

From living my life of being free

'Cause I want to feel good

And I know that today is the day

So I know that I'll feel good

No matter how today will be

'Cause I'm going to feel good

And I'm going to feel good today

 

I want to feel good

And I have the right to do so

'Cause I'm as happy as can be

And I guess that's so obvious to see

That I have a smile on my face

'Cause I'm going to feel good today

About whatever it is that I'm going to be doing

So I'm now well on my way

To having to start a better day

Of love and harmony

Along with happiness

'Cause I'm going to feel good

And I'm going to feel good today

I like the idea of thinking that feeling good is a right you deserve to have. It is! Some of us have to struggle with pain and physical adversity, but you are claiming your right to be happy!
