Love In Words (Before You Go)A Poem by Aianarie (INACTIVE)I wrote this for two of my best friends, who got married to each other this past June. :]Before
you go, Let
everything I wanted to say Flow
into you through my lips Because
neither my voice Nor my
hand, could ever suffice I feel
you here, my darling I know
part of you stayed with me Your
heart will forever remain part of me You are
never truly gone I miss
you more than I could ever tell you Ironic,
isn’t it? That
even I can’t find the words to express How much
I love you Poets
have attempted, artists have failed Love is
simply inexpressible With the
means of mankind Our
fallen, ignorant nature So,
then, I am at a loss What am
I to do? I have
nothing, nothing at all Nothing,
nothing but you Quite
simply, I suppose this must do: You are
the love of my life And I
hope I keep you forever Because
eternity is how long I will need Before
I’m able to write love in words. © 2012 Aianarie (INACTIVE)Author's Note
