Boredom

Boredom

A Poem by Aianarie (INACTIVE)

Dull reality, twisted fate

Lost fantasy, a dream yet to find

Shattered inspiration, seconds to late

'Tis a woe to be of my kind.

Always wanting a painted canvas

Never empty, blank, or blurred with time

Perfection is an artist's weakness,

But clarity is mine.

I hope for rolling hills and azure skies

Crystalline waters and mysterious trees

To look through his simple eyes

And see just how he sees.

Falling stars and silver moonlight;

This is what I see within me

Whispering wind and the sun so bright

Oh Heaven, hear my plea!

Enlighten me, show me the way

Guide me to that luminous creek

Of inspiration; which I lost that day...

When I didn't know for what I should seek.

This boredom you speak of has brought you beautiful words of inspiration... I envision falling stars and silver moonlight paving your creative mood to a blooming garden of soul searching thoughts, one that has graced you with its presence and I wish I had that kind of Boredom! Nice job!!! :)

Sometimes the listless naturewe embrace can create some of the most interesting poetry. This poem is the best example of this that i have found and the way it flows flawlessly into each stanza if fantastic. This piece was amazingly inspirational.
