The Otherkind (First Draft)

I began writing this story when I was 15 years old, and naturally I've gotten much better since then. I've been getting requests to put it up so here it is. This is the original, completely unrevised/unedited version of the first book of four in my series. Many changes are being made and will be made to it in the future. The chapters will be updated regularly.

Here is the full summary:

Sixteen-year-old Risten is an Otherkind, a human mysteriously reincarnated in the magical world of Ancantha. Upon her arrival, Risten is plagued with horrible nightmares, some of which involve a handsome half-elf named Derek. As their relationship grows stronger, so does the dark power of a dormant witch; one who plans to take over the land of Ancantha and revive her lost race using obscure methods…
