A Poem by Aianarie (INACTIVE)
"

#2 (read "In the Midst"'s descrip)

"

The grand scheme of my mind

Has stretched as far as my senses can reach

It has become so vast a space

That even I have not yet filled it all

So the empty spaces between, they wait,

For a blank canvas to grace their presence

With promises of a new future

A masterpiece, waiting to unfold

Waiting for me

The high city, with its great castle and pristine ways

A statue being built in the center of the square

In honor of someone who has snuck into this world

Funny, I didn’t expect my master plan

To include you as the centerpiece.

I love the metaphor you created using the city, and how it transitions into a completely new aspect of the poem.
