Night Blindness

Night Blindness

A Poem by Aianarie (INACTIVE)
"

The 4th and final of my "Old & Rhyming" series.

"

Daring dreamer, take me by the hand

Far off into your distant land

Feed my fire, steal my heart

Promise that we shall never part

Bring your body close to mine

Every part of me is forever thine

I surrender completely to you

Go ahead, what shall you do?

Inspired by night’s blindness

I lie enraptured by your soft kiss

Your skin bathed in fair moonlight

Your eyes gleam through the dark night

Your wicked grin takes me by storm

Your strong arms keep me so warm

Midnight clouds veil the bright

Shrouding us, you escape my sight

Our sanctuary fades to black

But true love our scene shall never lack

So for now, I’ll embrace you, hold you dearly

Because my heart still sees you clearly.
