Forevermore;

Forevermore;

A Poem by C.

You built her up, then shut her down

And she just lets her feelings drown

'Cause you don't care

You weren't ever there

In her darkest moments, it was only her

You were only a small blur

That turned away from her tears

Only brought her heart more fears

She's afraid to speak

Afraid of showing she's weak

She keeps running into walls

And you trip her so she falls

What is she supposed to do

There's too many mistakes she can't undo

You're such a lovely criminal

That what she can do is only minimal

She can't stop loving you

Neither can her pain she subdue

She'd like to believe it's your fault

But, those thoughts are always brought to a halt

It was the mistake she made

When she found that blade

To let her heart affect her mind

And let her hands be so unkind

To her previously unscarred body

And now it's just like a hobby

She has gone so damn insane

And you watch like she meant to entertain

You didn't help her when she fell on the floor

And now she'll hate herself forevermore.
