How It Always Starts;

How It Always Starts;

A Poem by C.

I hear you whisper my name

In the dark of the night

But, the night is just my closed eyes

'Cause you're giving me a fright

Our conversations always end in a fight

I'm always left holding on to nothing

I know you're not worth trusting

I want to leave, but I'm not that bright

I miss you.

I hate you.

I want you, get away.

I need you, you need me.

I'll use you. You'll use me too.

That's how it always starts...

and that's how we'll fall apart

I plead guilty to everything

So you'll have a reason to stay

But, you really did it this time

there's nothing left to say

Time is supposed to remove all pain

But things just seem to stay the same

Hunny, I'm just going insane

But, my cries I must refrain

I miss you.

I hate you.

I want you, get away.

I need you, you need me.

I'll use you. You'll use me too.

That's how it always starts...

and that's how we'll fall apart

So many things left unsaid

So many feelings have gone dead

I see the pain that lies ahead

But, still I keep my wings spread

Who you are is tearing me

But, I just want you back, I plee

I'm still waiting for an apology

But, maybe the one who should be apologizing

Is really me

I miss you.

I love you.

I want you to stay.

I need you, you need me.

But, I'll use you. And You'll use me too.

That's how it always starts...

and that's how we'll fall apart

An endearing relationship,
how it begins and how it ends,
The mind soars from WC to poetic-loving lands.
