Little Girl;

Little Girl;

A Poem by C.

There I was, a baby girl

I looked into your green eyes

Just the same as mine

You showed no emotion

Just kissed me goodbye

I was too young to understand

Why you had to leave

But, now I'm older

Yet, I'm scared to know

So, I just wonder

I like to think it's mother's fault

That she drove you away

Just like she's doing to me

But, if I was good enough

Why would you have left that day

Without fighting for me

That little girl you left behind

Still unknowlingly pains from that night

And sometimes, her tears blur her sight

Yet, she acts like she doesn't mind

I know you've always loved me

But, I wonder if you love them more

Your two other baby girls

Who you cared for enough

to not walk out the door

I like to think it's mother's fault

That she drove you away

Just like she's doing to me

But, if I was good enough

Why would you have left that day

Without fighting for me

There I was, a baby girl

I looked into your green eyes

Just the same as mine

You showed no emotion

Just kissed me goodbye

I like this, even though its sad. I like the emotion you put in it and the way you repeated some of the stanzas.

Great Job
