Mother, Mother;

Mother, Mother;

A Poem by C.

shouts and screams

that's all there is

so it seems

i wanted you to change

but it's a bit too late

my mangled heart can't rearrange

mother, mother

are hateful words all you know?

why can't love be a feeling you show?

mother, mother

are you blind to my tears?

'cause i've been crying for seventeen years

i fear you so much

is this what you want?

to hurt me with every touch?

i am scared to speak,

though i believed in my strength,

but your words make me so weak

mother, mother

are hateful words all you know?

why can't love be a feeling you show?

mother, mother

are you blind to my tears?

'cause i've been crying for seventeen years
