Haunted;

Haunted;

A Poem by C.

I've never been anywhere cold as you

But, I guess I like the cold

'Cause I let those memories haunt me still

The pain never get's old

And I should run before you kill

My petty little heart once more

But for a moment it's heaven

Until I'm thrust into hell

I grab my weapon

And promise to never tell

Of my damaged soul

and the heart you stole

I let myself come undone

and look where I've been led

and maybe i was broken before this begun

but i thought i was fixed by words you said

turns out i was wrong again

Constant mistakes is all i can do

and you point them out even more

i need to get a clue

and drop out of this war

'cause the fightings leading no where

I've never been anywhere cold as you

But, I guess I like the cold

'Cause I let those memories haunt me still

The pain never get's old

And I should run before you kill

My petty little heart once more

Cold indeed.

I love the depth of these words...I've never been anywhere cold as you

But, I guess I like the cold

'Cause I let those memories haunt me still

The pain never get's old

And I should run before you kill

My petty little heart once more

I feel pain, yet I also feel strength...
