Hide-N-Seek;

Hide-N-Seek;

A Poem by C.

Trippin' out

Hearing too many shouts

Wishin' I could bailout

Before my hearts worn-out

I fear its too late

It's become a fixed fate

With my love as bait

To catch feelings I hate

Fallin' down the rabbit hole

I think I have lost my soul

Your the one who makes me whole

But these feelings will take their toll

There's things I'll never say

And You may wish my lips to betray

But I won't take that pathway

I'll just turn and walkaway

For the second time, my heart is soaring

Even though the rain is pouring

But these feelings, I am ignoring

Though my heart is loudly roaring

Playin' it on the safe side

Searching for a place to hide

Hoping you won't seek inside

'Cause my little crackling heart lied

Feeling like you're all I need

But that feeling must be buried

I care for you; I do indeed

But, I've lost too much blood to bleed

I'll never be the one you've chosen

So, keep my heart forever frozen

Bury this love in a coffin

And don't dare come back often
