Foolish Desires;

Foolish Desires;

A Poem by C.

Lurking in the silence

Waiting to attack

Only a moment of weakness

That’s all it needs

Just one small tear

And it suceeds

It's got you, got you seeing red again

It takes control

Leaving your fingertips

Lusting after a knife’s caress

Before long

Your heads spinning

Backwards and all the way around

Closer to the edge

Three Steps...

Two Steps...

One Step Closer

You’re surely sure

It’s the end

But it needs no label

Or it turns to pretend

So don’t think

And the killer will take you

You’ll get your long awaited wish

To end this anguish

End these foolish

Desires

This is eerie...unsettling...a trail of thoughts almost...brilliant work! xx

Heavy, reminds me of the urge that drives people to kill.
