Trapped.

Trapped.

A Poem by C.

saying she's lost

is too typical

she's not lost

she's just not found

a place to belong.

she runs away

from everything

and everyone

phobia of pain

engulfs her

yet, she embraces pain

as it's her lover

trapped behind this sickness

she strives harder

though she knows

every passing moment

is closer to death,

maybe thats what drives her.

trapped in a jail cell

of pain

but she doesn't want to escape

she commits more crimes

does more evil

so she'll never have to let it go

so she can get closer

to seeing herself perfect

she only thinks shes nothing

nothing at all

So, why shouldn't she look the part too

trapped behind an image

morphed into something

so terrifying

all she see's is a monster

an ugly mask

with only one way to become beautiful

she strives and strives

she tries and tries

'cause it's all that matters

she's dying

and through her crying

she digs a river of blood

'cause shes trapped in a jail cell

of pain

but she doesn't want to escape

she commits more crimes

does more evil

so she'll never have to let it go

so she can get closer

to seeing herself perfect

she only thinks shes nothing

nothing at all

So, why shouldn't she look the part too
