Children Of Misery

Children Of Misery

A Poem by C.

Falling headfirst

into misery

but don't hesitate

i'm the only one you cursed

leave it all on a gray ending

i can't make anything

out of might-have-beens

this will take some mending

i know we are young

but this beautiful world

is turning mighty ugly

what will become of us

after this deadly fall

and hunny, I'm not a liar

but i thought this was trust

I don't know what i've done

we used to have this figured out

now it's in question

what happened to the love we sung

i never got it right

thats how this breaks down

and i'm always looking down

to a too familiar sight

does love make sense at all?

well come with your

arms raised high

as your heart sighs small

you think your better alone

but you will never be

we are children of misery

so many hearts left unsewn

you can't save us

its our time to break down

and now we must

i know we are young

but this beautiful world

is turning mighty ugly

what will become of us

after the fall

hunny i'm not a liar

but i believed this was love

Yeah speed metal with a bit of screamo. Not bad, your work is evocative.
