Saturn is our Disco

Saturn is our Disco

A Poem by C.

I wish things would change

But I know the world hates me

Boy, this world’s a bit to strange

And I think it’s time I leave it

So build me a ship to mars

And will you be my pilot

Let’s ride away on a star

Before it burns up in flames

From the next dropped cigar

Let’s make Saturn our disco

And Pluto our pillow

And blast through the sky

Where people will wish on us

As we shoot on by

Let’s create a life

Better than we’ve ever had

Cause we just get cut by the knife

In this terrible world

We’ve created in our minds

With all our thoughts just whirled

Let’s dance away our worries

Before it gets too late

Let’s bury all these cities

With all their broken hate

The title drew me in first, then your clever use of words to create an unusual take on the theme held my attention right to the end!
