Allergies;

A Poem by C.

The empty space in my bed that your body used to warm
Is now replaced by a never ending swarm
Of tissues and you’d probably laugh
At my never ending allergy issues
Maybe you’d thought I’d be over them
Like I’m over you
‘Cause you’re just a cheap tattoo
Filled with cheap booze, stumbling down avenues
On late nights, before you start meaningless fights
But anymore, your empty words don’t reach my ears
And the bruises you left are like forgotten souvenirs that will
Soon disappear
and I won’t care when they’re gone
and I don’t care that you’re gone
‘Cause truthfully my darling
We didn’t belong

I liked the honest tone and realistic thoughts.
"and I won’t care when they’re gone
and I don’t care that you’re gone
‘Cause truthfully my darling
We didn’t belong"
The above lines true and so good. Somethings don't seem to fit. Escape or drown in bad emotions. Thank you C. for sharing the excellent poetry.
