Whispers

Whispers

A Poem by A. E. Cox
"

14, yet again.

"
I hear whispers in the night
I don't know who they are
They're talking about me again
why do I feel so far
I've done something wrong
again I don't know what
Im going to get in trouble
Im stuck in one big rut
The whispers turn to yells
they're in my face screaming
I don't know what to do
I always end up leaning
To the place I should not go
It is very dark in here
Im just another joke
I don't want to shred a tear
And yet they turn to poison
It is infecting my whole body
My death is so very painful
When my mind is slowly rotting.
