Throw your stone

Throw your stone

A Poem by A. E. Cox
"

Written when I was 14, and very angst-y.

"
One judged face,
another taunted.
One torn heart,
another fractured.
One broken mind,
another mending.
Just a couple side effects
from a persons bending.
They walk around staring
like they've never seen a person
who acts the way they are
but inside they are hurting.
They talk like normal people,
when inside they want to be different.
They don't even try to let themselves
be who they are, the inside person.
I want to say to those people,
stand up for who you are!
but I cant say a thing because
I am wearing the same mask.

Wow, this was very powerful. Many people can relate to this, I'm sure, as it has definitely been easy to relate to for me.
