Angels, Demons, Spirits, Souls

Angels, Demons, Spirits, Souls

A Poem by Kaitlin W. Blaylock
"

I wrote this for all of my family and friends, passed away, or still living, this is dedicated to all who mean so much to me.

"
Angels are watching me
Watching me day and night
(I) Don't know why they're here
Don't know that they're God's
Don't know who they work for
Don't know what they want
All I know is that they watch
They watch me as I pray
They watch me
They watch me
They're watching me now
Even as I cry (for you)
My head is filled with thought
Thinking of you
Of the love we lost
Of the things we did
Of the times we had
All that joy brought so much pain
Now I'm being watched
By who knows what
This all started when you left
Wonder if they're gaurdians of pain
Don't know why they watch
Don't know who they are
I see them every now and again
But I know they're there
I know they're there
Grandpa's watching me
Pop is watching me
Pop and Grandpa
Why are you here?
Frances, Frances
You should be gone
Should have moved on
Yet you watch me
Every day
I know you're watching over me
I know you're there

I read your poem, Angels, Demons, Spirits, Souls I thought it was great. Its funny its harder to share poems that are about real life, which is often about death. We look to the angels but know the demons are out there. We act good and push away the dark. I wrote a dark poem for a contest. I will send it to you for review. I wrote mostly about love. I used to know it. I think. I lost...... Its hard to find know even though I pray for it. So I am sending you a poem about the darker side of life. The kind of poems you dont share. I wonder what you think 80)

Wow, this, in my opinion, was very enchanting as well as enlightening. Such philosophical thinking within this piece that make me appreciate the Afterlife even more.

This was very touching. Thank you for posting this. :)

Don't know who they work for
Don't know what they want...

Wonder if they're guardians of pain...

Your poem raises good questions--we know that they're there, but we don't completely understand what it's all about. I also like the repetition of the word "watch"--along with the questions, there's the certainty that they are with you. Nice work!

I love your peom. It makes me think of my own ghost or angels. If their there, if the exist, what they think, why they would hang around here instead of moving on....
