"

Forever criticizing me
Never a good thing to say
There's always something wrong
Never something right
Scaring me to death
Giving so much fright
You don't understand
Keep making a plan
I won't follow
So much grief and sorrow

Unlike you, dad understands me
If you're not careful
I'll be gone too soon
Scared to death
Fright after fright
You never thought of what I might

You never understood me before
Don't even try to now
It's too late
That's right, keep that scowl
I'm outta here, neva to return
Just go and burn
And leave me the hell alone
