Shedding Tears

Shedding Tears

A Poem by Kaitlin W. Blaylock
"

I have recently finalized this song, and it took me over a year to work out all the kinks once the original melody and words were put together. If you could hear this, you'd probably be crying for the outcast. This song is about that girl in every school

"

Does anybody know how it feels to cry for days?
Does anybody know how it feels to be at fault,
When it's not your fault?
Does anyone hear me, or do you even care?
Bet it's so hard not to stare at the freak beside you.
Shedding tears, oh, shedding tears
Does anybody know how it feels to wanna die?
Does anybody know how it feels to simply cry,
And you don't know why?
Does anyone hear me, screaming for dear life?
So hard to hear, so easy to ignore
The freak beside you
Shedding tears, oh, shedding tears
Always shedding tears
Tears of guilt!
Does anybody know how it feels to cringe inside?
Does anybody know how it feels to wanna make it right?
No end in sight.
Aah aah aa ah aah aah aah na na
