A Walk Home

A Walk Home

A Poem by A Hidden Heart
"

Does anyone ever start writing something, space out, and then have a poem written?

"

All the world seems picture ready as I walk home from a blissful day,

All the world seems to fall around me but the pain fades away

So confusing, the life I’m losing

But it wasn’t worth it anyway

Now I’m better, now I see

Follow my heart, don’t let anyone control me

I am my own person weak and strong

For passion and happiness my heart does long

But what is it that my soul desires

Hidden from me burn obscured fires

Hidden from the world… my mask a LIAR.

Author's Note

A Hidden Heart
I started this poem happy thinking about my day as I walked home. While typing it on the computer, I zoned out and wrote the second part. Has anyone ever had this happen to them.
