Its Happening Again

the Dreams haunting me

It always starts off the same

I'm in the woods having a good time.

then i see something. I can never make out a face just darkness.

I run.

Deeper into the woods i go.

Branches rip at me,bushes cut my legs.

and i still run

But the fear is still behind me

breathing down my neck.

then the unthinkable happens.

i trip and fall

And then the darkness consumes me.

I wake up screaming and in a cold sweat.

Was it really just a dream?l
