The Pain, The Fear, and The Silence

The Pain, The Fear, and The Silence

A Poem by Megan
"

to all who are abused

"
Some people like the Pain
They sit and revel in It
They let the Abuse keep coming
They accept It

Empty and Hollow to all
But the Pain
Because the Fear grips them tighter
They follow the Routine

Day in and day out of Hurt
Moaning for relief
Yet the only ones that can stop It
Are themselves

They are so Complacent
Letting It take over
Running they're lives into the ground
They're lips are so Silent

They let the Punishment Rein
Again and
Again and
Again

                                             Tear

                                                  Drop

                                                         After

                                                                Tear

                                                                      Drop

They let fall because of the Fear
Cowering in the night
Behind the safety of Locked doors
Until It finds them again

And
It
 Will

I guess they like being Chipped
Drowning in the Ache
Slowly turning into sawdust
But i'm Concrete

It stops
When
Say
Stop

Nothing will control me
Because
Am
My
Own

Belong
To
No
One
But
MYSELF

Tell some one

It is my pleasure that I am the first one to read it for review after it was posted about a year ago.
The lovely piece is really worth for telling some one.
