[When the mind is almost empty]

[When the mind is almost empty]

A Poem by Firestone Feinberg

[When the mind is almost empty]
When the mind is almost empty
Of everyday concern --
And focus goes from here to blankness --
And the little things that
Crawl in the corner
Return to wherever they came from --
And the wind stops howling --

Then returns
An armistice --

A moment of truce...

And suddenly
It seems as if

All

Is

Well.
